Biography
Trent focuses primarily on administrative law. As an attorney for Sellers, Galenbeck & Nelson, Trent has worked on a variety of cases dealing with a number of agencies, including the Iowa Board of Medicine, Iowa Board of Pharmacy, Iowa Board of Social Work, Iowa Board of Nursing, Iowa Board of Cosmetology, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, the Office of the Inspector General, the Internal Revenue Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration and many others.
Trent joined what would become Sellers, Galenbeck & Nelson in 2009, working as an associate of Attorney Michael Sellers. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2008 where he was recognized by the school for a paper he authored exploring neuroscience and culpability. Trent is licensed in Iowa and a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
Prior to pursuing a law career, Trent was a journalist for newspaper consortiums that operated in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa. He won several press association awards, including a first-place nod for investigative reporting.
A graduate of Iowa State University, Trent enjoys representing Midwestern clients and is proud to call Iowa his home. Trent is particularly interested in helping preserving the rights of individuals when government and corporate actors overstep their bounds.
